how do I clean inside the handle of a breville hot cup which has gone green

cannot clean the inside of a breville hotcup handle

I have no familiarity with the above but would filling the cup with a bleach solution and leaving it for 24 hours help ? Perhaps rinsing it with water afterwards and agitating by holding one's hand over and shaking ?
