Tomatoes

Might be jumping the gun,but my tomatoes seem to be taking a long time to ripen this year.Is it the plants, the weather,or me being impatient.Would love to know. Thanks Mick

Just threaten them with the compost heap. They'll ripen before the week is out.

Lack of sun most probably, they'll get there in the end.
I think, lack of sun, Mick.
probably the weather..they need quite a lot of sun.

I'm on the south coast and I have quite a few toms but only a handful with some colour in the greenhouse and still have plenty of flowers too. I think a bit more sun wouldn't go amiss, although too high a temp does slow ripening too. You usually find once some start the rest will follow quite quickly
Mine are still green , lack of hot sun !
