Cleaning silk flowers

hello, unfortunately, my silk flowers have got dusty with black dust. can anyone please suggest the best way to clean silk flowers withot damaging them and also maybe if i could buy a product special to cean silk flowers kind regards baljit

Try shaking them gently in a bag with ordinary household salt. That has worked for me.
I agree with annemollie, salt is the best thing and cheap as well!
I took a chance and very gently swished mine in cool water with a couple of drops of stergene added, rinsed, gave them a shake and hung them upside down to dry. They were fine.
I agree with Robinia, just quickly dip in tepid water and washing up liquid ..... mine were fine.
I wash mine in the sink - or take them into the garden and hose them - or more recently I blasted them with the steam cleaner.
Will the dust blow off, if so maybe an hairdryer would blow it off.
