OMG! How Boooooo-ooooring, just ahd 8 days at local hospital.

Slipped on the ice last tuesday, fell over - fractured right Kneecap. Currently tied to single floor of house, with access to AB, with splints/crutches/physio for next 6-8 weeks.

Whats happened? Any good gossip? Didi I miss something?

Welcome back Nibble, my husband has had 7 weeks recovery period for a total knee replacement - discharged on Monday from physio - just do as the doctor ordered, no skating for a while. Keep well both of you

Haven't seen doctor..... well not when awake that is....Went to sleep, knee in pieces, woke up knee tied together..... Voice from behind me in the corridor yesterday said, "Oh good! We'll get you home then!"

Cricket-bat splint & crutches until fu appointment next week, then "flexi" splint until fully mobile again!

Awww Nibble, hope you get better quickly. I kind of know how you feel.I slipped last Thursday and broke my ankle. Had an op on Sunday to put a metal plate in one side and a rod in the other. I have to stay off it for 7 weeks and I'm already bored! At least AB keeps me going!
