How do you look after a salix caprea pendula (kilmarnock willow)

It would seem to be very hardy, but does not like dense shade. If you have just planted it, keep it well watered.

I don't do anything with mine and it is growing into a nice little green igloo. It is in semi shade and quite wet ground. Standardfadvice is to prune them quite hard when they are dormant if you want to keep a neatly shaped tree, but I like the igloo effect!!
