How to charge?

I am going to paint 2 large empty office rooms and a hallway for someone I know. Paint will be supplied.
It will take as long as it takes.
Can anyone help with a fair rate please?
Per hour or per day?
Thanks.

I would pay only a price per wall/metre of wall or an overall cost. Agreeing a price per hour or day would be like giving you a blank cheque.
But if they trust you then you should agree somewhere between minimum wage and the going rate for a decorator- £15 an hour.
Well you could start with the national min rate, plus a little for you inconvenience and the need to pay your stamp if you're self-emplyed - say £6 an hour.

Many thanks - your answers have helped a lot.
I was thinking about £10 per hour so maybe £12 is more realistic.

Yes I am trusted, and no I would not take advantage. Besides, bosses office is adjacent!
£80-£110 per day depending where you are or how much travelling is involved
