Lightweight extendable branch pruners - any thoughts?

We want to prune branches up to about 10 - 12 feet from the ground. Our existing solid wooden shafted version is ok but very heavy and therefore diffcult to place accurately and very tiring to use. Could anybody spare a moment to pass on their experience with say, a Gardena Starcut 410 BL, a Gardena multi tool system, or an equivalent Fiskar version.

I've had an aluminium version from B&Q for 4 or 5 years. It's much lighter than the wooden version. I daresay it's not as high quality as Gardena but was probably much cheaper (I honestly can't remember how much I paid). I've use it many times and have also loaned it to others. I would recommend it.
I use an alluminium extendable one and it's really useful for the high brnches. Don't know what make mine is but it's only a cheap one.

Thank you iacmag3 & johnk for your comments. I tend to think that if you pay more for something it must be better quality. As you have proved this is not always the case but as it is wife who will using the pruner I don't want the neighbours to think that I am providing her with less than top notch equipment as well as being a lazy b*****d!
