Astroturf themselves recommend using a professional to do this but according to their website you should be able to manage with a modicum of experience and common sense. Get rid of existing vegetation, compact the earth and provide a solid base - they suggest concreting if necessary - then it's cutting to size and taking time to allow it to settle.
