Can you grow a willow dome in shade?

I've got a patch of ground that is in shade for most of the day - but it does gets the late afternoon sun for a couple of hours. Will a willow dome grow ok here or er...not really?

I had willow and it grew with its feet in the shade - as long as it's wet enough, it should be fine.
