w hat is the best way to keep the heat in the house
i live in a country cottage in scotland
do i keep the radiators on all day
which cost a lot or is it better on timer,

keeping 2 bedrooms, hall, toilet / at 3 and living room at 5 , temperture on radiators
can someone please help with advice

The best way is to stop the heat escaping in the first place by putting insulation in the loft and draughtproofing doors and windows. That way the rate at which the rooms cool down once the heat goes off is slowed down.
The settings are largely a matter of personal choice, but the lower the setting the lower your heating bills.
