WE ARE PUTTING OUR HOUSE ON THE MARKET TOMORROW WITH AN ESTATE AGENT AND MEANWHILE ANOTHER 1 HAS RANG TO SAY THEY CAN SELL IT FOR US TOO.THEY SAID WHOEVVER SELLS THE HOUSE GETS THE FEE?THAT DIDNT SEEM RIGHT TO ME,ANY CLUES?? THANKS.

Yes you can list the house with more than one agent. As you say the seller gets the fee the other gets nothing.
i would try one agent first and see how they do don't you pay more if it is 2 agents?
make sure you have signed a multi agent contract with each though.
Yes that's right. each Estate Agent will usually ask for a higher percentage commission fee though if they're not the sole agent.

i dont think i will have tp pay more for the 2 agents,just the one who sells it,it dont seem right tho does it?
Usually you will either have a sole agency contract with one agent when they take a lower commission rate. For multiagency the commission is often about half a percent higher. Could be as much as 1% more.

You DO pay more, to the one that sells it, if it is a multi agent situation.

An agent will charge you less if they know the are the sole agent (because they are guaranteed the sale).

They will charge you more if it is a multi agent as they may not get the sale.

So for example a sole agent may only charge you 1% of the sale, but if two agents are involved they may charge you 2% (though you only pay the one who sells it, but it is 2% as opposed to 1%)
As others have correctly said, you will not be able to negotiate as low a fee for sole agency as you will for multi-agency (you did negotiate, I trust - not just accept the first figure proposed to you?)

Look at it this way; if you were buying a house, wouldn't you go to all the decent agencies in town? So what's the point of employing two agencies at the same time for a higher cost?
Also, if you have more than one agent it can look desperate. It might make people think 'what's wrong with it, why can't they sell it?'

I THOUGHT WE MAY LOOK DESPERATE,BUT THE THING IS THE MAIN AGENT WHO IS SELLING IT IS A SMALL AGENT WITH ONLY A FEW PROPERTIES TO SELL (24).SURELY THE BIGGER AGENGIES WILL REACH A BIGGER AUDIENCE,MORE ADVERTISING ETC?
Check if they are going to put it on Rightmove or Primelocation. I think a lot of buyers look there rather than at individual estate agents anyway.
