My husband and i are witnesses agaisnt a paedophille who is having a sexual relationship as well with his own grown up daughter. We applied for housing and they do not think we are under threat , but we see the family as the trial is still coming up. It is awful living in the same town as you can imagine. Can anyone help me with any ideas on how or who can help us further, Thanks alot.

have you tried the Witness Support Officer at the court?
Hiya - what do you want the higher banding for? Is it so you will move more quickly?
if so, why dont you just look for private renting in the area of your choice if you feel under threat? Perhaps you could help yourselves, rather than someone else helping you?
Most councils have an additional application you can make to get extra points on your application called something like a welfare/medical circumstances form (it varies by Council) and lets you put your case forward. However usually you have to prove serious detriment to your health/wellbeing or personal safety - feeling a bit uncomfortable won't do it I'm afraid. As others have suggested, you could go private rented instead and apply for Housing Allowance (or whatever its latest name is!)
I'm intrigued as to how you and your husband manage to be a witness to someone having a sexual relationship with their daughter?
I think they are witnesses to the paedophillia and mention the incest as an additional attraction to the mans character
What a charmer he seems to be :((
