VERTICAL BLINDS IN CONSERVATORY

The plastic hooks on the tracks keep snapping, no doubt due to the heat as the conservatory faces due South. I need an alternative as it is becoming expensive having them replaced. Any ideas? or is the alternative to fit curtains?
