Hello there,
I was wondering if anyone can give some advice on carpets.
My husband and I are thinking of buying a 80%wool 10%nylon and 10% polyester carpet.
Is an 80/20 carpet hardwearing.
Does it flatten easily?
We have a polypropylene carpet and it has gone flat within 9 months in the lounge.
We have a vax rapide xl carpet cleaner and was wondering also could we clean a wool blend carpet with it?
i.e. will it shrink?
We are wanting to know before monday afternoon as we are going to order a carpet.
It will be for our stairs.
Thanks for any help.

I've had the 80% wool carpets and the one thing I didn't like about them was the fact that they do flatten...The last one I had was American 100% synthetic - can't remember what type it was thick (quite expensive) but it was brilliant..had to leave it when I moved...
