Fixing veneer interior doors

Have a couple of interior doors that have some holes in them, rather than get new ones is there any way i could patch them up! what kind of filler should i use?and what else if anything can i make these look ok!

You could always re-face the doors with ply or if on a tight budget, hardboard.
B & Q sels both in sheets- usually 6 x 4ft or 8 x 4ft & will cut the boards to size for you.
Filler will always show up on a large flat surface but if you need to use it try Polyfilla Fine grade. Don't forget that there will be a void behind that you will need to pack out!
