noisey pipes

hi, when i run the hot tap in the bathroom a noise from the pipes really freaks me out, it sounds as if there moving ! could it be trapped air or something?
any suggestions please???

Yep most likley to be trapped air and/or a loose or worn jumper / washer from the tap valve. Try changing the tap washer and venting the system from the air release valve in the airing cupboard. Also clip any pipes that are not securly fastened and are loose.
