Sorry to disagree with the ladies above, but silk paint and shiny wallpaper is awful :o) - no offence!!
I'd go for a warm bright colour like a soft teal or duck egg colour. You can get special light reflecting paint if need be. If you go to the Dulux mixing area, they divide the paint samples into fresh/warm etc - just go for a warm shade of a colour you like and get it mixed in the lightest shade on the chart and you cant go wrong.
If you are looking for inspiriation, it's easy with a bedroom, just find some bedding you like, pick a colour from that and choose a paint to match or contrast from a warm toned pallet and bob's your uncle!!
