It is a beautiful thing and really lifts the ambience of my garden, this helps me relax when I am at home and not at my work station suffering the stresses of the working day.

I would like to upgrade this to one with an electric powered fountain and a brass statue of an eagle in the middle, would I be able to claim this upgrade (from the bog standard green cast iron one) through the company petty cash? If I have to ponder any longer that my bird table is somehow lacking I really don't think i could carry out my duties at work to the same standard I have been able to maintain previously.

My compay doesn't allow major purchases through petty cash. I think you should apply for a company credit card - be so much easier
What about the garden furniture dot.Did you forget to buy that?
...... and don't forget to claim for the mortgage interest on your 2nd home - even though it's not actually mortgaged, 'cos it was paid off (prob with tax-payers money) 3 years ago .........

actually, I live in Preston and have to commute to wigan 5 days a week, the stress and strain of fighting through the traffic , especially through Standish, has a detrimental affect on my ability to perform my duties at work to the previously aluded to standard, i think i should actually apply for a government funded second home, somewhere near scholes flats would be nice, the view of the sally army HQ and whelley hospital has great appeal. would this be deemed to be within the bounds of the expenses criteria of any reasonable employment establishment?
How long does the journey take?

S|ome MP had a 2nd home and his journey took 25mins - lol

well that has convinced me cath, on a good day it takes 30 minutes, when wigan tech is in it can take an hour!!! I shall start viewing suitable properties asap, are estate agents fees something one can claim thru branch petty cash?

Dot you will need the top of the range company credit card - but I guess if you use petty cash they might not check - don't appear to have done much checking in the past.

Suggest you get a swimming pool too - good enough for them good enough for you - you might need to chill out if it's warm

knobend I would not trust you on my property you are an unskilled monkey with the brains of a rocking horse
Dot you seem to have overlooked putting a claim in for your food - I'm sure that you can use petty cash for that
Question Author
for my food? MY food, or the birds food?? My food would be good, would that include take aways???
I think both you and the birds and of course take aways - which take aways do your birds prefer?
You can claim for hanging baskets but we have to be careful of the gardener - I think it was the gardener of David Milliband who queried whether all the work he did was necessary- lol

You just stumble around in life making up lies on here just for attention.

Have you not got anybody else in your life to give you the attention that you seed or are you one of these sort of people that cant get enough and have to lie and lie and make up tales of woe to try to make people feel sorry for you.

Huh you are just a joke hawkes
