I'm probably being a bit thick here & this sounds silly but ....what plant is this the seeding mechanism of? or is it just self perpetuating sticky willy ? Does it have a 'real' name? I've shifted tons of it today

Another name for it is goose grass or cleavers. Whichever you call it it is a menace and seeds itself madly. I suffer from it too so you have my sympathy!
