Many years ago I was told that PORG was a term for Person/people of restricted growth. I've since heard it was a made up story. Anyone else heard this one and is is true or false?

It was certainly used by Tom Sharpe in his 'Wilt' series of books, but I don't know if he made it up. I had not heard the expression until I read the books.
