If you are sure it has died off, then cut it off just above where the new stem appears. Then you need to think about why it doesn't like its new home - whats different? Light? Fluctuations of heat? When you moved, was it in the back of a cold lorry for any length of time or in an unheated house? Did it suffer a cold blast of freezing wind while being moved........or is it just sulking and being a stroppy Yukka?

well it hasnt been blasted with cold or anything but in my other house it was a nice sunny area she had(plants called jacqui) .. but its definately died of.. all the leaves have gone and the stem is now begining to waste away .. its just that when i got it.. it was on a huge think stalk..(trunk) .. but i dont know where the actual new stem is coming from.. so what about the wooden limb??? and yes i think she may just bein a sulky yukka.. typical :P and ty for your reply huni :D
