And where can I buy black or pink caviar or cods roe from? I know I can buy a cheaper version in Sainsburies but I don't drive and its miles from where i live...

Perhaps Marks & Spencers or Fenwicks?

What you'll get from supermarkets will be lumpfish eggs which are perfectly good as an alternative to caviar.

Here are some online places you can try:

If you want a perfectly reasonable and cheap alternative, try Lidls if there is one near you.

Wow, Lidl's???!!!! I didn't think they would stock that kind of stuff, no matter how cheap! The one in Sainsburies IS lumpfish caviar, but I love it.... just can't get to it.....

I love the sound of the caviar on the link, but, sigh, I reufes to have a credit card, so I'm unable to order it!

Will have a shop round though, thanks anyway. x
Jeanette - I am sure you know this already, but since I sent you the eBay link for caviar, I will say that some of the eBay sellers accept money orders - you can also put money into a Paypal account and pay it out of Paypal.

I hate shopping, so I use eBay for a LOT of things:)

Hi BB,

Yes, I've heard about PAYPAL but I don't know enough about it... I'll have a look at the website if I can find it, during my lunch break.

Is it safe to buy food from Ebay?! I never would have thought of doing that!!!!!

Speak soon.

J x

Jeanette - when you start to buy something on eBay, just be sure to read some of the seller's Feedback - if they are not selling a quality product, the buyers will leave negative comments about it!

I went to the eBay website and clicked on the Paypal section (which is also owned by eBay - but also used by other websites as well) and am sending you a link:

Good luck, and please let us know how it goes for you, ok?
