Ususally pharmacies open urgently - this is a Bank Holiday here in Belfast. I am looking for one - they sometimes open 12-1pm. I can't seem to find the roster - anybody help me please Thanks

I found a list of duty chemists and was going to post a link for you then realised it only had 12th and 13th on it. So I googled Bank holidays in N.I and it doesn't show any for today (14th).

Today, Tuesday is Business as usual

Thanks very much Slaney - got what I wanted. According to the roster you gave me it was supposed to be open from 12-2pm - but it is actually opened until 5.00pm. The wee chemist said that roster was from last year and not updated. By the way guys 12th and 13th always Bank Holiday - 2 days off every year. Even I thought my favourite post office may have been opened but it too is closed. Anyway grateful thanks to you Slaney.

And thanks to others who answered so promptly.

Off now to this tooth fixed up - have an appointment at 2.30. Dentist said that wasn't a problem. Just can't have any more hard candies (American). Bye all.

^^^^ 12 and 13 always respected???? - no matter what day they fall on - you know depending on the way the days fall during the week - 2 days will be Bank Holidays. Just for a wee bit of information.

I was going to a chemist on the LIsburn Rd this morning. It should have been open but it wasn't. As I said, Boots in the city centre will be open and I'll go there later.

You posted for help today which is the 14th so not a bank holiday, you're even going for a dentist appointment which I guess don't open on a bank holiday.....so why need help when the chemist is open until 5 pm today. Methinks you have been cross-wired lol......perhaps you need a new calendar lol.

Do you have Tesco in NI ? The big ones over here have Pharmacies in them these days.

im assuming its like xmas bank holiday here, if those dates fall onto a weekend the bank holiday rolls over to the mon/tues of the following week??

Oh...so it's the 13th and 14th which are bank hols not 12th and 13th as quoted.....could have been explained better by JJ I think. Confused? Doesn't take much lol.
