Chop it up and freeze! Don't waste it.
Yes - consider yourself very lucky! I still have blackberries and still picking daily despite the old saying that the devil spits on them after October the somethingth!
The oxalic acid in the leaves will have started to go down the stem to the roots now so don't eat it.
