Unknown bush/shrub

We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

Lovely drying weather. Have washed all beds and bathroom mats and towels. All bedding dry and ironed and put away!

seem t have spent most of the day on the phone to the surgery getting my patient access account to work but forgetting that I originally rang up to make an appointment. Plus deciding whether to resign from my old union - I only continued my membership after retiring out of solidarity, but they want to treble the subscription and reduce the benefits to nothing, so I can't see the point. But a friend has suggested applying to be a life member, so I might try that.

My Union was also my professional body and an arm and a leg even at retired rates so there was no decision to make. Dh would happily have paid up but I thought we had better things to do with the money. Its been an odd kind of day here not winding up for fireworks or winding down afterwards. I had the oddest dreams too....I kept dreaming I had a mouthful of ink and it was bitter. I would wake up then fall asleep and dream it again.

I've spent most of the day with no internet. It just went off suddenly this morning.Virgin seem to have fixed it now but had to find other things to occupy my time so I occupied the sofa and watched television,read a bit ,did knitting and had tom soup and chs sarnies.
It's turning very cold and snow is forecast for us tomorrow so they say.It'll make a change, we haven't had snow for ages.That's a very odd dream Woofy.

Good day all! I was up with the lark and driving to lidl to get 2 cordless vacuum cleaners, a jacket, some on slip hangers and an ironing board cover! So much traffic and of course I took a wrong turning!! But all OK. Have made a chicken and ham pie and some chicken soup. Waiting for father brown and then am off to take the rubbish to the bins!

I'm just testing my new mouse ....computer stylie, not pet :) It's very whizzy. I'm hoping my old one was the cause of my crashing puta problems, it used to make a popping sound.

Went shopping with sis yesterday and bought a curling wand, I'm hoping to achieve a wob. That's a wavy bob for those who may not know. It could all go horribly wrong

I've always wanted waves and curls even! Hair is so thick and straight that even with perms it doesn't last more than a week if I'm lucky!

Evening all
Very cold ,sleeting out there now .Sea surge with big waves up to 13ft expected and they've closed off the seafront.People are being evacuated from some places on the east coast.
Nothing else to report ,just keeping warm indoors .Hope you're all ok.

Big let down here. Horrible sleet and very windy but no snow and all potential seems to have gone. Its going to freeze tomorrow morning though so our early morning visit to marks is cancelled and I have done an ocado order instead.
