We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

oh dear, I've just discovered that one of my most wonderful former colleagues died on Boxing Day. She was only mid-60s though her health was always a bit on edge, but she was such a lovely lady. She once turned up on an office outing dressed in a long ballet skirt, long black gloves and bovver boots. Also a very funny writer when she turned her hand to it.

Hello all
Lovely day but very parky out there ,thick frost this morning .
I'm sorry to hear that Jno,very sad for you ,especially when it's someone with whom you worked and really liked.
Lol Robinia ,never heard of Nudunits.Very funny. Are you busy knitting a Fufu:)

Loved the email jno !
Sorry about your friend though.
Good evening...what started off as a beautifully seasonal bright and frosty day suddenly turned into a murky and very foggy one. It didn't clear 'til sunset.

Sorry you've had sad news jno. Love the e-mail story, even though I've done a fair amount of internet shopping I've never bought anything from ebay. I don't know why but it scares me :)

Lol shaney, every home should have one. :)

3 words.....Harry freakin' Potter!
Morning! Early start off to buzz and still dark.
Debbie Reynolds has now died!
Morning from a very frosty (rf minus 5C) and foggy Derbyshire.
Keep warm and safe all.

Morning all
Very cold and frosty here too but bright and sunny now the fog has lifted.
Nothing exciting to report.
Keep warm .
I was completely shattered by the time we came home at 13hrs! I pottered and Mr N had to go to work to build wall which had been washed away by one of the recent storms ! Was so glad I had cooked dinner yesterday as the turkey soup and turkey/ham pie was very nice especially as I do not eat sprouts! Mr N loves sprouts! Nice and clean and tucked up in warm bedroom now, certainly not getting up early tomorrow!

I watched Ethel and Ernest on catch up.It was really good .He's such a clever man,the detail was amazing.
I stuck with To Walk Invisible ( about the Brontes) for a while but turned off. Hard going .Anything by Sally Wainwright is usually good but this was awful .I couldn't grasp half of what they were mumbling on about.
Freezing cold here and thick fog again. RF -2C.Think it's time for a hwb,Ovaltine and bed .Night all.
shaney - switch on the subtitles! I have mine on 24/7. I would've missed a lot without them because they were mumbling and muttering in the next room, but I thought it was excellent.
still feezing frog here... to be followed by shattered scowers
Morning from foggirobi on a foggy day in Derbyshire yet again. I'll have to put a head lamp on my thermal hairnet when I venture out to the bird feeders.

I often have the subtitles on... not because I've a hearing problem I can hear a pin drop but because so many actors seem to mumble. I didn't fancy the Brontes thing, I spent most of yesterday watching things on iplayer.

I suppose I should move some of the 2016 dust about...pegging out wasn't a good idea :)

good morning all. Well the thick white stuff outside must be fog because the met office have JUST updated their website and put up a fog warning. Can’t have been fog last night, even though the foghorns were going full blast because, the met office didn’t say it was.
ooh, proper Met Office fog, that's classy. I only get accufog here.
morning all. I watched Ethel and Ernie and loved it! Didn't fancy the Bronte's either. Getting chilly here now! Went out and got a cover for phablet and guy in shop was well impressed with it, as not available in Spain. He's said it's a good make and it's by IBM!
I always have subtitles on unless it's live and then they make no sense and are late!

Hello all
Peers through the gloom ....really foggy here ,hasn't lifted at all and it's bloomin' cold.
I don't think I can be bothered with the Brontes even with subtitles .It's had great reviews though.I've liked the film and tv adaptations of their books but have never got past the first few pages of the books themselves.
I gave myself an MOT this morning .Hot bath, face pack ,hair mask ,manicure ,pedicure ,slopped on plenty of lotion .
I'm all sleek and shiny now and just waiting for someone to give me a Bonio :)
