What do we think of the pixie cut?

Boyish and unattractive?

Cute and sexy?

Been toying with it for ages, but still can't pluck up the courage.

This is the sort of thing ...

Sorry to sound shallow, but I guess it depends what the face looks like underneath...
well if I looked like keira knightley i'd go for it but it really wouldnt suit me. Dont know what you look like to say
I like it Jayne!!!

But you need a nice shaped face with cheekbones.

Alas my face is like a football!!!!
Yes I like it on kiera, but not on victoria. It all depends on the shape of your face. If you had a little full moon type face that is a bit chubby ,like mine, then it wouldn't suit.
:-(
''Alas my face is like a football!!!! ''

pmsl... kind of what I meant :-)
It looks like it's been cut with a knife and fork and then she's been on the back of a motorbike through several hedges.

Sorry, not my cup of tea.
I agree with daniela - it really does suit Keira but I absolutely hate it on Victoria Beckham.

It all depends on the shape face you've got I supose - I would look like a lad, whereas on others it would look fantastic.

Nice cut though...

Victoria (we all know who we mean) looks ridiculous with almost any haircut.

I think a decent stylist wouldn't give you a cut that really didn't suit you.

It's just a bit radical ... going from "below the shoulders" to "above the ears".
This is a popular style for its easy upkeep.....a good cut would only require running your fingers thru to maintain style.

A neck, the longer the better, flatters this cut.

RoaldoM ... that was the longest link EVER !!!

I'd still have to keep a bushy fringe, and a load on top (otherwise, where would I keep my sunglasses???)
JJ...take a picture into the salon.....I know 'the expert' but alas not in Brighton.
You need all of the following to get away with the cut -

good cheekbones

very good skin

large eyes

pretty ears

long neck

confidence.

Have an honest look at yourself, and check the list. If more than two are missing, don;t do it.

Actually, this is quite a good blonde cut ...

(except the earrings ... I never wear earrings. Hate them with a passion)
I sound like the voice of doom today, but I had a haircut like that blonde one......circa 1984
JJ....do you tie your hair back, up ..... wear it more tied than loose? Is your length unmanageable, too ageing/youthful?

Then get an up to date style......don't live in a 'time-warp.
Question Author
Maybe you've got a point, Mrs_O.

I just like the idea of having it cut above my ears, but not short all over ... but I'm a bit of a fraidy cat, in case I hate it. It would take about a year to grow back.
