Best solution for a bath with no shower?

I'm moving into a flat which has only a bath with no shower above. The tiling goes half way up the wall.

I've seen bath mixers with shower heads on risers at homebase etc, but do they have to be attached to tile? As it's a rented flat, I can't leave the walls in a mess.

Any suggestions or info much appreciated

Maybe one of those rubber handheld things that you just fit over the taps and are designed for rinsing over a basin might do the trick. Can you tie it to anything to hold it over the bath?

if you need to make a small hole for a screw or rawplug in the tile wall, make it in between, it is easy to repair the grouting.

Hope this is of some help.

Hi Wildwood, thanks for your answer.

The tiling isn't high enough to attach the shower to, and I was really hoping to be able to have a 'proper' shower ie hands-free!

Does anyone know if these risers can be fit to the wall with minimal damage?
It depends what you call minimal damage! You will have to drill a couple of holes but can't you fill them in and paint over them afterwards?
