In a car? What kind? What type of garage (dealer or independant)? Does the head need skimmed as well?

Roughly, very roughly mind you, your probably talking around the �80 to �150 mark if that's all that needs done and it's a easier enough car to work on, this is assuming that it's a ordinary garage and not somewhere exorbitant like a BMW or Merc place.

It depends on the num,ber of hours it takes, what the garage charges, and parts required - and that dependf on the car. I recently had one changed in a Golf and it cost �350.
