Old Vinyl marley tiles.

Going to put ceramic tiles on top of vinyl tiles, the tiles are well stuck down, whats the best preparation for this surface before laying. thanks

Vinyl tiles are great to tile over as long as they are well stuck down as you said. When I tile over them I first make sure the floor is clean and then brush it over with a week mix of PVA & water, let it go almost dry (tacky),but It won't matter if it dries copletely, then lay your tiles. Its the suction between the tiles and the vinyl that makes it stick so well not the strength of the adhesive.
