I noticed the other day, when entering my loft, a small gleam of light coming thorugh my roof tiles. Upon closer inspection I noticed that it was not a mising tile, but a tile that had come loose and unhooked itself from the wooden slat that holds it in place.

I treid hooking it back, but it emans that alot of other tiles next to it have to be slightly lifted. Is this safe to do from the inside or better done from out side (its very high out side!!). Should this been done professionally or can I do this?

really worried about wind and rain pulling this off. Not sure how long its been like this as we have just moved in.

Cheers

Its very awkward to do a job like that from inside, its like decorating the hall from outside the front door, through the letter box(slight exageration). I would probably try and push the tile into position and squeeze plenty of GRIPFIL undeneath the tile to bond it to the others, that shoud stick it for a couple of hundred years.
