Ages ago I bought one of the above (mounted on your forehead)But it won't light up,I've looked inside is it supposed to have batteries inside and what type please? Thanks.

Well it must get its power from somewhere, can you see a battery space?

Any I've ever had used 3 x AAA batteries.

The only info on it is RAC.You screw down the cap to make it go and it looks as though there is space for batteries
If it's one of these it should come with two CR2032 button cell batteries:

If so it takes 2 of the round style batteries - reviews not that good, they can't switch theirs on either!
The one in Prudie's link also takes 2 x CR2032 batteries.

Sorry folks I did say that I bought it ages ago and that was the last time I used it.So when I'd finished I had wrapped it in some packing to keep it safe but what I hadn't noticed there in the packing were 2Xcell batteries.Thanks for your replies sorry to have wasted your time.
Whatever fits.

Mine uses 3, AA batteries.
