We have just moved into a terraced house which doesn't have a radiator in the hallway.

Does it matter which side of the hall the radiator should hang.

Facing the front of the house, the front door opens to the right. Should the radiator be on the right side of the hall.

Thanks

How wide is the hall?
Ours opens to the right and the radiator is on the left. I think it has more to do with where existing pipes are.
I don't know about specific rules, but personally I would hang it on the wall that the door opens against.

(When I say personally, I mean I would get a plumber to do it!)
Sorry, ignore mine.
hang it on your own internal wall if you can, not the joint wall you share with your neighbour.
Make sure it's guilty first....
Your choice completely, Stockton. Just go for the easiest option ie wherever the pipe runs happen to be.

Thanks for the advice. Left wall would be eaiser for pipe work
my mother wouldn't have a radiator in the hall, she used to say 'I'm not heating the street'
