Cane Furniture

Any advice on reviving elderley & dull looking cane furniture would be welcomed.

Sand it down and paint with polyurethane boat varnish. Ordinary varnish is not good enough.
Ordinary gloss paint will rub off on your clothes in no time. You can get coloured polyurethane boat varnishes.
polyurethane boat varnish would work well for you. it is long lasting and easy to use. and being resistant to water and mild chemicals is an added advantage.
you can use a brush, roller or airless spray for applying polyurethane boat varnish.
