Hi

I have just put a new washing line up, and the one thing I did not expect was for my partner not to be able to pull up the line, due to weight.

So does anyone know where I can find either a handle winder or ratchet etc I have looked and cannot find anything but a car winch at present.

Any help appreciated, especially if I can attach to the wall.

what sort of fixing are you looking for - one on a pole, or fixed to the house, or out of a top window?
There is a system made by the Amish in America, problem is it costs $130. How about a ship chandler who can supply block and tackle systems ?

Hi

The line is already up with pulleys etc, I just need something that she can wind with a handle and ratchet, like on a parasol etc, I cant believe that it can be that hard to find, but it seems so!
