cracked paint

Have painted walls with emulsion. in one or two places the paint as got some fine cracks in it now that its dry almost like a crackle glaze. anyone know why. Thanks for any help.

Probably something in the surface under the paint, Will. Emulsion, being water-based, doesn't sit properly on maybe...... grease, oil stain etc. Try a "stain blocker" painted onto the affected area, then re-coat.
... or distemper underneath (I STILL find it)
