i like the look of radiator covers and have seen one for sale second hand. so, how do they work and look? i have a radiator in the kitchen that is quite wide but not central to the wall. can i put a cover over it that is much larger to make it look centred or do the covers have to fit over perfectly and have a gap at the side in a specific place for the pipes and valves?
most of the covers i have seen are designed to fit more than one size rad so nothing stopping you buying a larger one, as regards pipe/valves i believe you have to cut these out yourself as there are so many options..
thanks for your reply. tell me though, if the radiator is smaller than the cover and i want to put a much larger cover over it, can you see through the cover and notice that the radiator itself is not centred, ie would it look odd?
It depends on the grill front. If it has a small mesh, I don't think that you would see the radiator; which is basically inside a cupboard which is fixed up tightly against the wall.
