I've got a few little bumps and scratches on my car (mostly not through my own doing, apart from when I kicked it) and it's just occured to me they are mostly all on the same panel. Any idea of what the cost would be to replace the whole panel?

The car is a 53 plate Golf and it's the panel is the one that goes above the front drivers side wheel (the part that has the small indicator light).

I'm a dumb female, what do I know... it's just a lump of shiney black metal to me.
Before you do that, ask your local 'Chips Away' franchise holder to quote for tarting it up.
Milly, a lot of dents can be pulled out of the Wings / Doors / back panels at a cost, but depends how you go about it. if the dent are on a crease (a crease on the wing, at times on a line on the wing) that is harder to sort out as the crease has stretched, that in-turn requires a bit of body filler etc.
(not familiar with fixings) - if it bolts on - then a replacement from a breakers yard or other in the same colour !
I remember buying a brand new door for my Land Rover S111 it cost me £50 the local garage estimated £400 to spray it lol, I sprayed it myself for £10. Its not always the cost of the panel you need to worry about, they are usually cheap, but fitting and spraying..........
