can anyone help me find more on these 2 men

The info you get in the medal rolls is very limited in most cases, as all those that saw service on the Battlefield were given a set of medals and so it's a vast archive amd those that originally filled in the form were filling in thousands.
You would be better looking for the sign up papers or the discharge papers, which should give you more personal info on the infividual, these should be in the catalogues at kew, if the person was ever mentioned in the regimental dispatches or recorded in the commanding officers account, there may be info to be found in the regimental museums.
