hi, i have a few pilots notes from WORLD WAR 2.
I have a Lancaster Bomber and 2 Spitfires, but the 1 spitfire has a regimental number on top and has been signed and checked on 3 occassions in 1943 and 1944. The book was published in 1943 and is in mint condition. How can i find if this has any value as i have had enough of looking to new avail.
Any info could be helpful and ratefully recieved.

I would imagine it is priceless, possibly if you contact here:
http://www.spifirememorial.org.uk/
you would be reuniting it with it's history
Try the RAF Museum at Hendon http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/comments/in dex.cfm
or the Imperial War Museum (Air Museum at Duxford)

i have mailed them and just found i have another spitfire notes book, signed with amendments and a lancasted bomber book.
Hopefully they can help as they are the spitfire heritage.

Many thanx and keep an eye out as if i can get a value i will post it on here. Just don't want to put the signed one on ebay to sell for 99p or something stupid.
I am sure the museum will be very interested, keep us posted please
