We have just watched a movie called Mothman, starring Richard Gere, and it says it is based on a true story, and that Mothman actually exists.  Is it real?

its based on real accounts from people and the Monthman is made up from sketches from these accounts, basically the film is a movies of a legend that may or may not have truth in it. oh and it's called The Monthman Prophecies - just in case you wanna do some searching on it or something.
