Can anyone advise where I can find info on aTwo aircraft accident north-east of Coventry,one or both planes ,USA No survivors.Late 40s early 50s. Thanks

matches the description except that neither was a US aircraft. Was this it?

Thank you mushroom25. I witnessed the wreckage falling to earth,a silver wing like a falling leaf.Why i thought one was USAF was because a young US serviceman survived but died before his parents arrived from USA . Id be 5 1/2 at the time. Thanks again.
