Yes, I have a copy (somewhere!) which I bought several years ago. It gives an excellent overview of the decade, though other books might give a better account of specific events (e.g. I also have Philip Ziegler's book on Edward VIII and I got Anthony Beevor's book on the Spanish Civil War for a Christmas present last year).
Glad you are enjoying it. If you want to extend your historical reading to the post-war period, might I recommend Peter Hennessy's books Never Again (the 1945-51 period) published a few years ago, and Having it so good (1951-60) which was published around the end of last year.
