Australian Emigration

Does anyone know how I can find details of a relative who left England for Australia after 1871?
i.e. census, shipping lists.

You could also try 'googling' something like 'Australia immigration ships'

There are no Australian censuses - they did/do take them but they are destroyed as soon as the statistics are compiled not long after.
