They constantly get it wrong. I can understand it with live programmes, but it is wrong loads of times on pre recorded programmes.

Isn't it done by an audio machine, that converts speech to text??

My son once worked on a film, converting the speech to text physically. Hard job.
Tried it yourself, Clarion? Easy, was it?
a lot of it's done by robots, I think.

My favourite from live cricket coverage: "Alastair Cook will be wanting more runs" appeared as "Alastair Cook will be wanting morons."

Clarion...I've never done it, but I've not called those that have "idiots"...because I don't know just how difficult it is.

I've seen some that are real howlers,as they can completely change the meaning of what's being said.
