He is spot on. Blair and Brown failed, chiefly because they looked after the corrupt bankers who brought this country to its knees, instead of the people who elected them.

The Blairites had their day but they are finished.

Not sure piluticians should be making Savile jokes, but it did forcefully make a valid point.

yes I was referring to the Saville reference really, ill advised for politicians to be cracking that sort of joke.
I have no problem with any politician making this sort of comment.

We have pretty much gagged our politicians from saying what they feel and in doing so bred a load of 'career' politicians and their associated spin.
Hardy a joke. Simply a comparison in order to make a point folk could understand. Fuss about nothing.
Are we surprised at this? Nope. Don't know why it is in News.
