I always smile at Princess Ann's popularisation of the word 'Naff' to mean , not very good or needing improvement. She obviously was totally unaware of the origin of the word. It was originally used by the 'Gay' community in the days when homosexuality was still unacceptable. If a man was 'Naff' it meant he was straight and therefore >> Not, Available, For, F **king !
