If only we had politicians who were prepared to defend our troops in such a way.

I cannot remember our Government suspending its training programmes for Afghan troops, or even sending out our Foreign Minister to Afghanistan, when some of our troops were killed by a renegade Afghan policeman.

I should add aog that in terms of our politicians standing up for our troops I agree with you.
I think we have more enemies than allies in Afghanistan - we are in a no win situation.

When they can give more compensation to untried terrorists in this country, usually in the £mns, than they give to our war heros who have their limbs blown off it shows the government priorities.

The Labour government didn't take us into a war over the Falkland Islands, that was the Tories.
