Photoshop CS3 won't install on laptop . . .

. . . .running Windows vista home premium.
I've tried the disk and an internet download, but when I run set up, it asks for permission to continue, starts installing then the installation box just disappears and that's that.
It seems to work on my older XP laptop (but it's too slow to use it on that one)

Thanks, that seems to have done the trick - though at first the dll it asks you to run generates an error code - I then looked THAT up and fixed it with a registry cleaner.
I still got the error message but when I tried to install CS3 again it worked.
does the lappy satisfy the min requirements?
laptops sometimes skimp on the graphics (although photoshop isn't that demanding)
