Leist family

Is there anybody with a great grandfather called Elijah Leist ? He had seven children,lived in Needham Norfolk. My grandfather was Fred Leist and left Needham about 1905 to marry Henrietta Briggs the widow of his cousin (Fred Briggs)

Have you tried looking for people on http://www.genesreunited.com who have an Elijah Leist in their family tree? Do you know when he was born as there is someone called Bruce with an Elijah Leist born in 1831 in Rushall, Norfolk in his family tree. I believe Rushall is just a few miles from Needham ... is this him?

Thank you for yor answer. Yes the Elijah you mention is my great grandfather. He married Sarah Briggs , and the name Briggs keep cropping up in the family tree. No wonder we all look alike !
